Garry Davidson presided over a building process that has led the franchise to significant strides on the ice with their second Western Conference title in 2017-18 and three U.S. Division titles in the last four seasons, while stocking the club’s system with exciting young players and NHL prospects.
His constructed roster has evolved into five consecutive winning seasons in franchise history to date, including the team’s sixth U.S. Division title with newly hired head coach Dennis Williams and a record of 211-105-26-18 over five regular seasons.

As General Manager Garry saw six Silvertips selected in the first, second or third round of the NHL Entry Draft including Noah Juulsen, Gage Goncalves, Carter Hart and Gianni Fairbrother.

Garry was twice named WHL Executive of the year in the Western Conference and in 2018 won the Lloyd Saunders Memorial Trophy as the award for being The WHL Executive of the Year.

Before taking the reins in Everett Garry pent four seasons as Director of Player Personnel for the Portland Winterhawks from 2008-11.

In that role he was instrumental of Portland’s Bantam Draft selections and scouting of recruited players who helped the program emerge from a last place finish to three straight WHL Finals appearances.

Garry led the BCHL’s Salmon Arm SilverBacks as Owner, General Manager and Head Coach from 2001-08. A three-time BCHL Coach of the Year, his other coaching stops in the league include Penticton, Nanaimo, Victoria and Trail. He also oversaw all player recruiting with each of his BCHL clubs, helping produce eventual Hockey Hall of Fame inductee and Hobey Baker Award recipient Paul Kariya, along with two additional Hobey Baker honorees (Brendan Morrison and Ryan Duncan) and three first-round NHL draft picks (Travis Zajac, Kris Chucko and Riley Nash) with Salmon Arm alone.
